Job Description
Administrative Legal Assistant We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support and assist our Senior Paralegal in all aspects of litigation and case management. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will ensure the smooth operation of our law office, enabling our team to deliver exceptional legal services. Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support and assist Senior Paralegal in all aspects of litigation and case management ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Assist with scheduling hearings, depositions and filing deadlines. Maintain database/electronic client files. Process mail. Create pleadings, transcribe and proofread dictation, and create letters with precision and clarity. Perform administrative duties, including filing and answering phones with professional etiquette, managing calendars, and handling incoming inquiries promptly. Ability to take instruction and work independently where appropriate.
Qualifications:
A degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience. 5 years' experience as a Legal Assistant. Experience with Probate/Trust administration and Litigation preferred. Knowledge of e-filing protocols and court system in Civil Court, Probate Court and Appellate Court preferred. Must be able to E-file. Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear legal documents and proofread meticulously for accuracy. Knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a legal office and use of office equipment. Exceptional phone etiquette combined with strong clerical skills including filing, data entry, and document review. Experience using Microsoft Office software, knowledge of Leap and Worldox a plus. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

$50,000.00
•$55,000.00 per year
