Job Description

Meros, Brennan & Brennan, P.A., a well established family law firm located in downtown St. Petersburg, FL, seeks an experienced full-time family law paralegal or legal assistant to join our team. Applicants should have a solid base in balancing a heavy case load, client management, pleading preparation, calendaring and scheduling, billing, and file management. Applicants also need to be able to work well in a fast paced environment, be detail oriented, have exceptional organizational and communication skills, and be able to self prioritize according to office needs. This employment opportunity offers a starting salary of $60,000 to $75,000, along with paid time off, 401(k) plan (with 3% matching), and health, dental, and vision insurance. Candidates must have experience in family law . Applicants without experience in family law unfortunately will not be able to be considered. Salary will be competitive, and compensation will be commensurate with family law experience.
Responsibilities :
Complete and manage scheduling of attorney's calendar. Prepare discovery and manage deadlines. Daily contact and follow up with clients. Daily E-Filing and E-Service. File management. Billing.
Required qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a paralegal or legal assistant in a family law firm.
Preferred Qualifications :
