LEGAL ASSISTANT
Overview Ullian Trial Law is a plaintiffs' personal injury, medical malpractice, and wrongful death law firm founded by Dane R. Ullian, a trial attorney with an established history of multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements for the victims of negligence and their families. We are seeking experienced, detail-oriented Legal Assistants or Paralegals who share our Core Values of Integrity, Excellence, Passion, and Compassion.
What You'll Be Doing:
Client Interaction :
Meet with clients both in-person and over the phone, ensuring clear communication and providing a high level of customer care.
Intake :
Confer with potential new clients regarding the details of their matter, gather the relevant information for attorney review and client consultation, and ensure completion of all new client documents.
Scheduling :
Manage attorney's calendar, which will include coordinating legal proceedings such as mediation, depositions, and hearings.
File Management :
Manage and track all incoming communications, including emails, phone calls, mail, and service documents, ensuring that they are properly filed and reach the appropriate person.
Medical Record Management:
As experience and workflow allows, may be asked to gather, review, and update medical records, bills, and lien documents from medical providers, insurers, and third-party processors.
Collaboration :
Work closely with the attorney, client, and our legal team to ensure smooth case progression and client success.
What We're Looking For:
Experience :
At least 1 to 3 years of experience as a legal assistant, secretary, or receptionist, preferably in the Personal Injury field.
Skills :
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Comfort communicating with prospective new clients, existing clients, opposing counsel, courthouse personnel, and vendors.
Drive :
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Work Environment:
Full-time position, based in Vero Beach, FL . Monday to Thursday (8:30 am- 5:30 pm ), with one-hour lunch Friday (8:30 am- 3:00 pm ), with one-hour lunch Flexible Schedule may be available depending upon the circumstances.
