Join our dynamic legal team as a Legal Assistant, where your enthusiasm and organizational prowess will drive efficiency and support across diverse legal practices. In this vital role, you will assist attorneys with document preparation and administrative tasks. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth operations within a fast-paced law office environment, contributing to successful client outcomes and maintaining high standards of professionalism. Manage and organize legal documents using document management systems such as Clio, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for case review and research Assist with drafting, proofreading, and editing legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, discovery responses, and correspondence with meticulous attention to detail Support attorneys with case preparation by reviewing documents for relevance and accuracy, performing document review tasks efficiently Maintain case files meticulously through filing, data entry, and updating case management systems to ensure compliance with firm standards Provide executive administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, handling phone etiquette professionally, and organizing meetings or court dates Extensive knowledge of various practice areas including estate planning. Proven experience with legal administrative functions such as document review, legal drafting, proofreading, transcription, and filing Proficiency in legal research platforms like Westlaw and LexisNexis to gather pertinent case law and statutes efficiently Familiarity with case management software including Clio Manage for effective document organization. Strong project management abilities to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Excellent organizational skills coupled with superior phone etiquette and communication abilities Ability to perform data entry accurately while managing large volumes of documents in a fast-paced environment This role is perfect for someone eager to grow within the legal field by leveraging their paralegal experience or administrative expertise.
