Specific Job Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive, loan-level desktop reviews of cases, and prioritize the work appropriately Communicate with the courts, clients and opposing counsel Manage a portfolio of active files and complete daily tasks to ensure legal action exceeds clients' timelines and expectations Ensure all internal systems are updated, to include findings, documentation, and recommendations Draft and record legal documents Safeguard compliance with local, state, and federal bankruptcy, foreclosure and collections requirements (as applicable)
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Candidate should have at least one year of Law Firm experience handling foreclosures. Document preparation including but not limited to Notices of Sale and Deeds Experience operating in Loansphere/ BKFS Creative in problem-solving and takes initiative when issues arise, with ability to use good judgment or obtain direction or clarification where needed Intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills; Strong interpersonal skills Ability to effectively communicate verbally and through written electronic correspondence Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Ability to manage workflow and work under tight deadlines with competing and shifting priorities
Knowledge of Mortgage Foreclosure Law Required Education and Training:
Associate or bachelor's Degree preferred Basic principles of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control strongly preferred 1 year experience in handling foreclosures cradle to grave; preferred 2-3 years
