Real Estate Closer Role Overview At Wessels, White, & Earley, P.C., Our Closers are the ones who set the tone. You make sure every file starts strong and that clients feel cared for from the very beginning. This role isn't just about checklists — it's about being proactive, dependable, and helpful in a way that reflects our core values of hospitality, helpfulness, and humor. Core Responsibilities Coordinate all aspects of the closing process Prepare settlement statements, closing disclosures & other closing documentation Balance file, obtain funding and issue checks Issue title insurance policies Record all necessary closing documents and process disbursements Issue and mail out original owner's policies with original & recorded warranty deed Mail out original & recorded security deed to lender Communicate accurately and punctually with all parties Provide follow-up assistance as requested by clients Excellent relationship management, interpersonal and communication skills Other projects or tasks, as requested What Success Looks Like You proactively work ahead within each file, staying one step in front of the process. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, balancing attention to detail with a sense of urgency. You're fluent in a digital-first workflow — comfortable navigating closing software, scanning docs, and managing files on-screen. Around here, paper is for the finish line, not the race. You build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and partners, making the closing experience smooth and personable.
