Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and ready to make a difference in a fast-paced legal environment? Our team at Smith, Gilliam, Williams & Miles, P.A. is looking for a Legal Assistant to provide vital administrative and case support to several of our attorneys.
What You'll Do:
Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and filings Maintain and organize case files (both physical and electronic) Schedule meetings, hearings, and court dates Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel Manage deadlines and ensure timely filings Front desk reception/telephone coverage when needed
What We're Looking For:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; legal case management software (Centerbase and NetDocuments) would be a plus Ability to handle confidential information with discretion A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
