A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description

We are looking for an Office Assistant/Legal Assistant or Paralegal to prepare draft documents , communicate with clients, attorneys, and court staff. You should have excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail, as well as an ability to work independently. Responsibilities Drafting documents for attorney review Data entry, proofreading Updating client information in a client system or other means File documents online Updating internal case management systems Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask Skills Working knowledge of MS Office and databases Patience and ability to manage stress Excellent communication skills (written and oral) Problem-solving skills Detail oriented -Attention to detail Previous administrative/legal assistant, or office experience preferred
Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
