This role involves drafting and organizing legal documents, and assisting with a wide range of business transactions from formation through ongoing strategy with local businesses. Duties Draft contracts and agreements for the attorneys to review. Operating agreements Shareholder and partnership agreements Purchase and sale agreements Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) Service and vendor contracts Coordinate due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions Organize and manage closing checklists, signature packets, and closing binders File documents with state agencies and track filing deadlines Communicate with clients, attorneys, accountants, and third parties to gather information and ensure smooth transactions Conduct legal and business research as needed Support attorneys with general transactional and administrative tasks Qualifications Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience required 2+ years of experience in business, corporate, or transactional law preferred Strong understanding of business entities and corporate governance Experience drafting and reviewing legal documents Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with legal software or document management systems is a plus
Pay:
$38.00 - $46.00 per hour
