• 80,000, commensurate with experience Overview LHH is partnering with a growing family law firm in Chicago to identify a detail-oriented and compassionate Family Law Legal Assistant .

This position supports attorneys in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and is well suited for someone who is highly organized, deadline-driven, and professional when communicating with clients during sensitive family law matters. Responsibilities Provide daily administrative and legal support to family law attorneys Draft, revise, and proofread correspondence, pleadings, and legal documents Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, and case files Complete Cook County e-filings via Odyssey eFileIL , ensuring accuracy and compliance with local court rules Track filings, court notices, and confirmations Communicate with clients in a professional, courteous, and discreet manner Prepare and organize documents for hearings, mediations, and trials Maintain electronic and physical filing systems Assist with billing, time entry, and general office support as needed Qualifications 2+ years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in family law Working knowledge of Cook County court procedures and e-filing (Odyssey eFileIL) Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sensitivity What We Offer Competitive salary range of $60,000
