Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a commitment to providing exceptional support to attorneys and clients alike. Responsibilities Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and motions. Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw. Manage case files and maintain document management systems for efficient retrieval. Perform document review and proofreading to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards. Provide executive administrative support, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars. Interview clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information for cases. Assist with project management tasks related to ongoing legal matters. Maintain organized filing systems for both electronic and paper documents. Support attorneys in various areas of law. Communicate effectively with clients via phone etiquette and written correspondence. Qualifications Proven paralegal experience or legal administrative experience in a law office setting. Familiarity with legal case management software. Strong writing skills with the ability to draft legal documents accurately. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry and clerical tasks. Ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in conducting legal research and utilizing various legal databases. Experience in project management related to legal matters is a plus. Knowledge of litigation processes and procedures is essential. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
