This role offers an exciting opportunity to support a wide range of legal functions across multiple practice areas, including personal injury, employment law, and other areas of civil litigation. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess drafting skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to accuracy and confidentiality. As a vital member of our law office, you will facilitate smooth operations by managing legal documents, and providing administrative support to the attorney and clients alike. Duties Assist with legal case management by organizing files, maintaining document management systems such as Abacus, and ensuring timely data entry and filing of case materials Draft, proofread, and review legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, correspondence, and reports with precision and clarity Support litigation processes through document review, discovery coordination, and preparation of trial materials Manage client communications by scheduling interviews, maintaining professional phone etiquette, and providing executive administrative support where needed Assist attorney with project management tasks to ensure deadlines are met efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards Transcribe recordings and prepare accurate summaries or notes for case files while adhering to confidentiality protocols Requirements Proficiency in legal case management software including Abacus; experience with document management systems is highly desirable Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while demonstrating attention to detail Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; thorough proofreading abilities are essential Effective interviewing skills for client intake; strong phone etiquette for professional communication Clerical experience including data entry, filing systems management, transcription services, and general administrative tasks Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment; proactive problem-solving mindset
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
