Position involves supporting multiple attorneys, filling in where needed, opening files, discovery preparation, dictation, notices, filing with clerk, basic pleading preparation, answering phones, correspondence, scheduling, docketing, trial exhibit preparation. Familiarity with Clio is a plus. Ideal candidates are team players who are flexible as to the tasks assigned and enjoy learning how to do new tasks Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401K 401K Matching Paid time Off Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a family law paralegal . Strong knowledge of the discovery process and experience preparing, reviewing, organizing, and managing discovery. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to independently manage deadlines and prioritize multiple assignments. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Professional and comfortable communicating directly with clients. Proficiency with Microsoft Office , Adobe software, electronic filing systems, and legal case management software. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with attorneys and other staff members. The successful candidate will take ownership of assigned cases and tasks rather than waiting for instructions at every stage. We value someone who anticipates deadlines, follows up on outstanding discovery, communicates effectively with clients, identifies potential problems, and helps move cases toward resolution.
Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
