Job Description
We have the collective experience of 15 attorneys working in an interactive and collaborative culture that yields creative, practical solutions for our clients. Based in South Bend, we have been a part of the regional business community for quite some time, we understand the goals and challenges of our clients and recognize the important details and nuances that influence business and legal outcomes. We represent clients not only in the State of Indiana, but also in Michigan and Illinois.
Qualifications-Bachelor's degree, or associate's degree in paralegal studies-Experience in medical malpractice or personal injury -2+ years' as Litigation Legal Assistant or Paralegal-Paralegal certification preferred-Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and case management softwareKey Responsibilities-Strong interpersonal skills including ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with a variety of contacts, including outside attorneys and co-workers-Strong research, analytical, and investigative skills; ability to document and present findings in a clear and concise manner-Make sound judgements, and flexibility/adaptability to prioritize, organize, manage, and complete time sensitive matters-Strong written and oral communication, analytical and organizational skills-Motivated and capable of working independently and in a collaborative environment-Must be able to handle confidential, privileged, and/or sensitive information with care and sensitivity-Ability to make sound decisions and exercise independent judgement and discretion with integrity and accountabilityBenefits-Health Benefits-PTO
