Why This Role Matters:
The Legal Assistant will provide support to members of the company's Law and Compliance teams.
How You'll Contribute:
Provide general administrative support to lawyers, paralegals and Compliance personnel, including assistance with correspondence, research, regulatory filings, regulatory examinations, and travel arrangements. Prepare and process expense reports for department leadership Process department mail (i.e. organization, distribution, etc.) Organize and arrange department and board luncheons, dinners, catering Process vendor invoices for payment using company systems such as Serengeti Tracker and Oracle Fusion software Provide administrative planning and oversight for various subject matter functions
What We're Looking For:
A Bachelor's degree is preferred. 2+ years of prior administrative assistant experience is preferred Current active Notary, or willingness to obtain one after hire Prior legal experience in a law firm or corporate law department is preferred. Experience in highly regulated environments (e.g., insurance, financial services, health care) preferred. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance competing priorities. Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is essential. Understands the importance of deadlines and discretion in dealing with issues of a sensitive and confidential nature. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Adobe.
