Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Paralegal to join our team in Overland Park, Kansas. This role involves providing essential legal support, focusing on civil litigation and trial preparation. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a commitment to ensuring accuracy in all legal documentation.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case development and litigation strategies.
  • Manage discovery processes, including organizing, reviewing, and producing documents.
  • Prepare for trials by compiling evidence, drafting legal documents, and assisting attorneys.
  • Utilize case management software to track case progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Draft and review legal correspondence and pleadings with precision and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and external parties to ensure seamless communication.
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of motions and other court-related documents.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with legal and procedural requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed to enhance case efficiency. Requirements
  • Proven experience in civil litigation and trial preparation.
  • Proficiency in using case management software and legal research tools.
  • Strong understanding of discovery processes and litigation procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to draft and review legal documents with accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and legal professionals.
  • Familiarity with court filing systems and procedural guidelines.
  • A degree or certification in Paralegal Studies or a related field.
