Legal Assistant Job Responsibilities:
Draft and prepare legal and administrative documents for review and approval. Conduct research and assist with the interpretation and application of regulations, policies, and procedures. Prepare hearing materials, exhibits, and case files. Maintain calendars, deadlines, and case tracking systems. Communicate with applicants, licensees, and other stakeholders regarding case status and related matters. Organize, maintain, and update legal and disciplinary records. Assist with administrative fine tracking, reporting, and reconciliation. Support process improvement initiatives and maintain internal procedures and documentation. Perform quality control reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications:
Legal Assistant Job Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, Legal Secretary, or high-level Administrative/Executive Assistant. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational, time management, and critical-thinking abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Experience working in a government, regulatory, legal, or compliance-focused environment is preferred.
