Job Description

Job Summary:
The Senior Litigation & Compliance Paralegal is responsible for monitoring and assisting with all litigation matters and discovery issues , as well as providing support for operational and compliance initiatives . Responsible for receiving service of process and coordinating with third-party adjusters and outside counsel on litigation matters. Responsible for monitoring and responding to all administrative complaints. Responsible for managing e-billing and case management software, including necessary reporting for budgets. Responsible for supporting operational and compliance initiatives and serving as the Legal Department point of contact for records management and records retention issues. Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned) Monitor and assist with management of litigation matters (coordinating with outside counsel on all cases, including e-discovery issues and discovery responses, performing initial reviews of pleadings, and participating in strategy discussions) Coordinate responses to subpoenas and law enforcement requests Investigate and respond to all administrative charges, including EEOC charges, wage claims, and coordinate responses to subpoenas and garnishments Oversee preparation, management and maintenance of e-billing and case management software, legal files, legal invoices, and legal contracts Provide support to further operational and compliance initiatives and serve as the Legal Department point of contact for records management and records retention issues ​ Additional Job Description Education, Experience & Certifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience 10+ years experience as paralegal ​ Functional Skills Advanced Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook skills Experience with Serengeti e-billing/case management software , and Clearwell e-discovery tool strongly desired Advanced drafting skills and knowledge of legal terminology Advanced interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Thorough knowledge of litigation process and substantive law, including employment, personal injury and class actions.
