Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support across a variety of legal areas, ensuring efficient case management, thorough research, and precise document preparation. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will help facilitate smooth legal operations, contribute to case success, and uphold the highest standards of legal accuracy. Duties Conduct in-depth legal research across multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, UCC law, immigration law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, and personal injury law. Assist attorneys with drafting legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, motions, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Manage legal case files using document management systems like iManage and LexisNexis; ensure all records are organized and up-to-date. Review and analyze legal documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Support litigation processes by preparing discovery materials, summarizing case facts, and coordinating depositions. Perform administrative tasks including data entry, filing, proofreading, transcription, and maintaining calendars for court deadlines. Conduct interviews with clients or witnesses as needed to gather pertinent information for cases. Utilize legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis to support case development and strategy. Provide executive administrative support by managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence efficiently. Skills Strong knowledge of diverse legal practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, UCC law, immigration law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, and personal injury law. Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis; familiarity with PCLaw is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Effective writing skills for drafting clear legal documents and correspondence. Proven experience in document review and case management using systems like iManage or similar platforms. Ability to perform thorough legal research to support case strategies effectively. Strong proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in all documentation. Exceptional clerical experience including data entry, filing systems, and administrative support functions. Excellent phone etiquette combined with superior organizational skills for managing communications professionally. Knowledge of various practice areas such as landlord-tenant law, litigation procedures, contracts management, tribal regulations, patent filings, and securities compliance is highly desirable. $38,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
