Job Description
The Corporate Paralegal will provide centralized legal, compliance, licensing, and administrative support across a group of affiliated companies. This role is designed to keep the CLO's workload organized, documentation current, and key deadlines on track across multiple active areas. Core Responsibilities 1. Litigation & Claims Support Transmit case documents and correspondence to manufacturers, sales, and finance as directed. Coordinate check-ins and status updates with outside counsel and internal stakeholders. Prepare, track, and manage demand letters (collections, bounced checks, shorted taxes). Monitor state motor vehicle complaints and support response coordination. Track unit substitution matters and loan recall activity. Support finance-related legal issues including credit reporting matters. Maintain a litigation tracker across all open matters. 2. Compliance Support —
FTC / GLBA
Safeguards Rule Support documentation, policy maintenance, risk assessments, and audit readiness. Help maintain vendor oversight records and service provider compliance documentation. 3. Corporate Governance, Entity Administration & Real Property Maintain corporate records, SOS filings, entity documents, and compliance calendars. Track membership structure, operating agreements, and entity purpose across all companies. Support annual filings and good-standing requirements. Assist with documentation for active property transactions, including permits and listing agreements. Maintain a property status tracker for all active and pending transactions. 4. Licensing Manage license applications, renewals, and amendments across all corporate entities. Maintain a licensing matrix for managers and track deadlines and approvals. Coordinate with regulatory agencies as needed. 5. Insurance Support Organize and track insurance policies, certificates, renewals, and coverage records across all entities. Coverage includes:
master policy, floor plan, workers' comp, flood, EPLI, aviation, cyber, umbrella, and LRG-specific policies. Maintain documentation for aircraft and hangar leases. 6. General Administrative & Tracking Build and maintain compliance trackers, filing schedules, and the department OKR calendar. Support audits, inspections, and regulatory information requests. Assist with process improvements and special projects as assigned by the CLO. Candidate Profile Experience Minimum 3 years in paralegal, compliance, licensing, or legal operations. Experience supporting multiple business entities simultaneously. Preferred:
familiarity with GLBA Safeguards Rule and vendor compliance requirements. Skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail and deadline management. Able to build and maintain trackers, calendars, and filing systems. Comfortable with multi-location environments and occasional site visits. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office; legal or compliance software experience a plus. Operates with discretion and sound judgment at all times. Job Type:
