As a Paralegal in this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical summaries and support to our legal team. Your in-depth knowledge of medical terminology, ability to analyze complex medical records, and attention to detail will be crucial in assisting our attorneys in building strong defense strategies for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Medical Summarization:
Review and analyze complex medical records, including physician notes, diagnostic reports, test results, and treatment plans, to prepare accurate and concise medical summaries for use in legal proceedings.
Case Support:
Collaborate closely with attorneys and legal professionals to provide timely and efficient support in medical-related aspects of cases. Assist in organizing and managing case files, including medical records, exhibits, and other relevant documents.
Research:
Conduct legal and medical research to gather information and stay up-to-date on medical advancements, relevant case law, regulations, and industry best practices pertaining to defense strategies and medical summaries.
Document Preparation:
Draft and prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and discovery requests, related to medical aspects of cases. Ensure accuracy and adherence to legal guidelines and deadlines.
Expert Coordination:
Liaise with medical experts and consultants to gather expert opinions and collaborate in the development of case strategies. Assist in scheduling expert witness depositions and managing communication between experts and attorneys.
Trial Preparation:
Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including organizing and summarizing medical evidence, preparing exhibits, and coordinating with witnesses, medical professionals, and other relevant parties.
Compliance and Confidentiality:

Requirements:
Education and Experience:
