Job Description

The Division of Professional Studies prepares students for careers and transfer opportunities through programs in Business Administration, Computer Media Technology, Education, Hospitality, Visual Media Arts, Paralegal and Legal Studies, and Criminal Justice and Public Safety. Taught by experienced professionals and practitioners, programs combine industry expertise with academic instruction to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and critical thinking needed for success in today's workforce and continued education. BHCC is seeking dynamic adjunct faculty to teach in the Paralegal and Legal Studies Department beginning Fall Semester. Available course(s): PLG-101 Introduction to Law (IN-PERSON, 6:00 p.m. - 8:45 p.m.) PLG-102 Legal Research & Writing (REMOTE/ONLINE, 6:00 p.m. - 8:45 p.m.) For more information about all PLG courses: https://selfservice.bhcc.edu/Student/Courses/Search?keyword=plg
Requirements:
Juris Doctorate Good standing in Bar in any U.S. jurisdiction Commitment to advancing equity and access in the classroom College teaching experience, especially at community college level, preferred Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population
