Job Description

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Litigation Paralegal with in-depth knowledge of the auto insurance industry. Our ideal candidate will have experience in case management as a paralegal and be skilled in drafting documents and managing personal injury case files. We need someone who is an effective communicator, incredibly organized, and self-motivated. Our case managers play an essential role in ensuring that clients' goals are met. Compensation:
$65,000 - $80,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Set up a system of filing for our cases that is well-organized and easy to navigate, and other related admin duties Discuss potential lien, bill, and medical expense settlements with service providers or insurers Create demand letters, prepare demand packages, and negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters Coordinate between attorneys, staff, and outside vendors to manage the law firm's case load, present case summaries/updates, and ensure that deadlines are met Manage, update, and organize all case files and information with regard to engagement, whether electronic or paper, in accordance with firm policies Communicate case status with clients and outside counsel as requested Review legal documents to ensure adherence to all legal requirements Conduct legal research to obtain documentation regarding health insurance, social security, medical records, and medical providers
Qualifications:
Strong oral and written communication skills Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills 3-5 years of experience in personal injury case management is required as either a personal injury case manager at a personal injury law firm or an insurance adjuster who has handled personal injury claims. Self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple matters at once Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet presentation, and case management software High school diploma is required - a 2-year degree and Paralegal certification are acceptable, but a Bachelor's degree is preferred About Company Are You Ready to Fight for Fairness?
