In this role, you will provide essential support in a criminal defense and civil litigation practice. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal support skills while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities Draft legal correspondence and assist with document production, discovery, and other litigation support. Track filing deadlines and statutes of limitations while managing calendars for depositions, hearings, and client meetings. Draft, format, edit, proofread, and electronically submit state court filings, pleadings, and discovery requests. Support client communication by scheduling appointments, conducting interviews, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Handle client intake, draft retainer agreements, and organize physical and electronic case files using practice software such as MyCase Handle day-to-day inquiries from clients, insurance representatives, opposing counsel, and court staff with discretion.
