Jobs › Springfield, MA › Paralegal Robert Half Paralegal Springfield, MA Apply Description We are looking for a Paralegal to support a busy legal practice in Springfield, Massachusetts with a strong focus on family law, probate, and divorce matters. This opportunity is well suited for someone who enjoys balancing client-facing communication with detailed legal and administrative work in a fast-paced office setting. The position plays an important on-site role in keeping daily operations organized while helping attorneys and staff move matters forward efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage attorney calendars, arrange client meetings, and help coordinate daily scheduling needs across the office.
- Communicate with clients to gather information, provide case updates, and clarify required documents or upcoming steps.
- Prepare legal correspondence, motions, pleadings, and other case-related materials for attorney review and filing.
- Submit court documents through electronic filing systems while monitoring deadlines and procedural requirements.
- Maintain orderly physical and digital case records so files remain accurate, accessible, and up to date.
- Provide day-to-day legal and administrative support that helps attorneys and staff handle active family law and probate matters effectively.
- Answer and direct calls through a multi-line phone system while delivering attentive and responsive service to clients and contacts.
- Assist with document collection and case organization to support ongoing discovery and related matter preparation. Requirements
- Prior experience in a law firm, legal office, or similar legal support position is preferred.
- Familiarity with family law, probate, or divorce cases is advantageous.
- Experience preparing legal documents and supporting court filing activities is preferred.
- Working knowledge of e-Filing procedures and general legal office practices is desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact regularly and professionally with clients are required.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment are essential.
- Comfort using standard office software, legal technology tools, and a multi-line phone system is expected.
