A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description

Our client, a well-established and highly respected law firm in Boston's MetroWest region, is seeking a personable and organized Legal Administrative Assistant to join their collaborative team. In this client-facing role, you'll serve as a key point of contact, providing exceptional administrative support, coordinating attorney and client meetings, and assisting with the preparation and production of legal documents that keep the practice running smoothly. This role offers an hourly rate between $22-25/HR depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
Greet clients and manage incoming calls with professionalism and compassion Schedule consultations, meetings, and maintain attorney calendars Prepare and distribute legal documents, correspondence, deeds, and wills Maintain accurate client and case information in the firm's database Proofread legal documents, emails, and client correspondence Provide administrative support to attorneys and assist with daily office operations
Qualifications:
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills Excellent phone etiquette and customer service experience High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new software Previous legal administrative, receptionist, or professional office experience is a plus, but not required Interested candidates are encouraged to submit a Word document resume to Natalie at Nsykes@naglergroup.com for immediate consideration!
