We are looking for someone organized, dependable, and experienced in a law firm environment who can support attorneys with litigation matters, discovery, medical record review, and case preparation. Our firm has a family-oriented atmosphere and values professionalism, strong communication, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities include:
Assist attorneys with litigation case preparation Aid in the discovery process, including organizing, reviewing, and summarizing materials Read, organize, and summarize medical records Draft, edit, and format legal documents and correspondence Maintain and organize case files Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, medical providers, and other parties Use NEOS case management software to manage case information and documents Prepare materials for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial as needed Perform administrative and legal support tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Certified Paralegal preferred/required Prior law firm experience preferred NEOS experience required Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to read, organize, and summarize medical records Experience assisting with discovery Strong writing, organization, and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable handling litigation-related tasks and professional confrontation when necessary Long-term interest in growing with a small firm
