Job Description

Bilingual Receptionist/Legal Assistant The role of receptionist/intake specialist is one of THE most vital positions within any law firm and at our law firm this is no different. The person in this role will need to be compassionate and warm with clients who are going through difficult times with their work injury or car accident case from our Waldorf office. Your primary job is to assist with client care on phone calls, in person client appointments, and to keep our databases up to date with new client intakes, birthday lists and requests of records.
Your duties will include:
  • Greeting new clients
  • Obtaining all necessary information from potential client for attorneys
  • Sending retainer documents to the client via docusign software
  • Requesting medical records and bills with our paralegal team
  • Copying documents of clients when they come in and scanning them into the system, making sure the paralegal is made aware of these documents
  • Update the client database in excel with new client information
  • Update the birthday list with new client info and generate birthday cards monthly to current and prior clients
  • Inputting client data into case management at client initial phone call after new client intake completed
  • Responsible for following up with clients regarding Reviews after the case is complete
  • Assist in requesting, organizing, following up on medical bills and records on files
  • Assist in Community Outreach
  • Assist with new client calls and intakes

Qualified candidates are subject to a paralegal assessment, background check and should supply at least two references related to work ethic and performance.
