Job Description

We are seeking a Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our legal team. This full-time, in-person, position offers a dynamic opportunity to support attorneys in delivering exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and experience handling a variety of legal and administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and prepare legal documents including motions, correspondence, and other pleadings E-file court documents in state court systems Schedule meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel Organize and manage discovery, including sending and receiving files via secure file sharing platforms Maintain and update case files, both electronic and paper Perform general administrative and secretarial duties, such as managing calendars and answering phones
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a paralegal or legal assistant preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and PDF editing software Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively under deadlines Experience with legal practice management software and e-filing systems a plus
