Job Description

What Youll Do Draft estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives under attorney direction. Prepare and assemble complete estate plans, ensuring every required component is present and accurate before execution. Coordinate and schedule client meetings, and ensure all client signing execution formalities (witnesses, notarization, initials) are correct. Communicate professionally and promptly with clients by phone and email, documenting all contact in the matter file. Deliver final documents and binders to clients in a timely, polished manner. Track clients flagged for plan reviews or updates and follow up on schedule. Maintain strict confidentiality and follow firm procedures and SOPs in all tasks.

What Were Looking For Prior experience in a law firm, estate planning, or legal-assistant role strongly preferred. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in this role, documents must be correct the first time. Strong written and verbal communication skills and a warm, professional client manner. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple active matters at once. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; comfort learning case-management and document software. Discretion and reliability in handling confidential and privileged information.
