Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. MUST HAVE AT LEASE ONE YEAR EXPERIENCE IN A LAW FIRM
Duties Assist attorneys with case preparation by conducting legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools. Draft, review, and proofread legal documents including contracts, pleadings, discovery responses, and correspondence with meticulous attention to detail. Conduct interviews with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather pertinent information for ongoing cases. Support litigation processes by reviewing case files, preparing exhibits, and maintaining case calendars. Handle data entry and filing tasks efficiently within law office systems while maintaining strict confidentiality. Provide administrative support such as scheduling appointments, managing phone etiquette, and coordinating meetings for attorneys and clients. Requirements Proven paralegal experience or relevant legal administrative experience in a law office setting. Strong knowledge of various practice areas including immigration law, and personal injury. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently. Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence. Ability to perform thorough proofreading and transcription accurately under tight deadlines. Strong interviewing skills to gather detailed information from clients and witnesses. Knowledge of legal procedures related to contracts, filings, document review, and data entry processes.
