Legal Assistant

Job Overview Jeddeloh Snyder Stommes PA serves central Minnesota in the areas of family law, estate planning, real estate, business law and probate law. We have offices located in St. Cloud, Cold Spring and Big Lake. We are seeking a Legal Assistant with previous clerical experience and is interested in becoming a part of the legal profession. This position would be full-time for our St. Cloud office location. The ideal candidate will work in a team to perform legal administrative support for Attorneys and Assistants, including document creation and revision, managing and maintaining the firm calendar, scheduling of appointments and other duties as assigned. Duties Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs. Draft correspondence and communicate with clients, courts, and other legal professionals. File documents with appropriate courts and agencies in compliance with deadlines. Collaborate with team members to ensure effective case management. Requirements Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role within a law office is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
