Job Description
About the RoleThe Legal Response team is seeking an experienced Sr Paralegal to provide coverage for multiple team members who are currently out on leave or transitioning to other roles.
This is a high-volume litigation support position requiring strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
The selected candidate will support multiple attorneys and legal matters as workload demands shift across the team.
Key Responsibilities Support attorneys with litigation matters and case management activities. Manage assigned matters, including tracking deadlines, maintaining calendars, and updating case status. Draft legal responses and professional correspondence. Review and respond to subpoenas and discovery requests. Conduct legal research using Westlaw and other available resources. Maintain accurate electronic case files, including call logs, notes, tasks, and supporting documentation. Utilize internal systems and databases to research client and matter-related information. Provide coverage and support across multiple attorneys and legal teams as business needs require. Complete assigned tasks within the case management system. Support litigation matters through document review, case management, legal research, and related activities. Required Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, or a Paralegal Certificate, required. 5+ years of litigation, eDiscovery, or legal operations experience in a law firm or corporate legal environment. Strong legal research, writing, communication, and analytical skills. Experience with case management systems. Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat. Experience with legal research tools. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Ability to exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when reviewing legal documents. Outstanding organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, colleagues, courts, and other stakeholders. Ability to learn new systems and technology quickly. Preferred Qualifications Financial services industry experience. Experience working within a corporate/in-house legal team. Experience using Westlaw. Experience using Relativity. Westlaw and Relativity are preferred, not required.
