Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join a growing legal practice in Springfield, Massachusetts. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in guiding cases forward, maintaining strong client relationships, and keeping complex files organized from start to finish. You will work closely with attorneys and staff in a collaborative environment that values professionalism, efficiency, and a supportive workplace culture.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee personal injury matters throughout the life of each case, from initial client intake through settlement or litigation support.
  • Interview new clients, collect key background information, and provide timely updates so clients remain informed about case progress.
  • Obtain, review, and organize medical documentation, billing records, accident reports, and other materials needed to support claims.
  • Prepare requests for records and evidence, ensuring case files include complete and accurate supporting documentation.
  • Draft legal and case-related documents such as correspondence, pleadings, discovery materials, demand packages, and settlement submissions.
  • Communicate with insurers, healthcare providers, expert consultants, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in active matters.
  • Monitor filing dates, discovery timelines, and other critical deadlines while maintaining well-documented and current case files.
  • Support attorneys with litigation activities, including document production, discovery coordination, deposition preparation, and trial readiness.
  • Arrange depositions, mediations, hearings, and meetings by coordinating calendars and confirming logistics with all participants.
  • Contribute to the continued development of the firm's personal injury practice through dependable case support and strong day-to-day execution.
