Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as contracts, briefs, and pleadings
  • Organize and maintain client files and case documents
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
  • Prepare and proofread legal correspondence and documents
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, court appearances, and depositions
  • Answer phone calls and handle inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
  • Transcribe dictations and prepare accurate summaries
  • Manage document management systems to ensure efficient retrieval of information
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a paralegal or legal assistant
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in using computer software for word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Familiarity with legal research tools and databases
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
