Compensation:
$37,000 - $55,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Draft and review legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards. Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing exhibits and evidence. Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and client advisories. Manage and maintain client files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accessible. Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and court appearances to optimize workflow. Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and gathering necessary information. Support attorneys during court proceedings by taking notes and managing documents efficiently.
Qualifications:
Experience in family or personal injury law, with at least one year as a paralegal. Proficiency in MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Suite to streamline document management. Ability to draft and review legal documents with precision and compliance. Proven track record of assisting attorneys in trial preparation and managing court documents. Strong organizational skills to maintain and update client files efficiently. Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and information gathering. Experience in conducting thorough legal research to support case strategies and advisories.
