PARALEGAL
Real Estate Paralegal is responsible for providing comprehensive support during real estate closings. Your role involves assisting attorneys and clients by preparing and reviewing legal documents and ensuring that all aspects of the closing process adhere to legal requirements and industry regulations. Attention to detail, legal expertise, and ability to manage complex transactions are instrumental in facilitating successful real estate closings.
Builder Expectations:
Extreme Ownership of the file to ensure smooth closing Clear title -marked up binder Ensure all closing figures match invoice and contract Audit packages and file prior to closing Ensure package is sent timely to correct closing location Balance figures with lender Management of Seller Docs Management of keys and closing locations Ensure past orders report is clear Oversee fees not disbursed report Client relationship management with closing coordinators and lenders Calendar management-ensure that the calendar matches the closing software Send builder docs to builder post-closing Ownership of closing errors/check requests Primary point of contact for builder files -buyers, agents, builders Pre-closing tasks as necessary General Responsibilities Participate in maintaining a tidy and organized office environment. Provide general hospitality (e.g., greeting clients, preparing closing rooms). Assist with general administrative tasks as needed to support team operations. Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately. Perform other duties as assigned by management to meet organizational needs.
Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional coursework or certification in real estate or paralegal studies is a plus.
Experience:
Previous experience as a paralegal, preferably with a focus on real estate transactions is helpful but not required.
