The NC Eminent Domain Law Firm is seeking a driven individual with a high focus on providing excellent customer service to potential clients who reach out to our firm daily for legal assistance. Providing excellent legal service to our clients is our calling. As one of the state's largest personal injury law firms, we have the experience and resources to fight the good fight. Forty percent of our team has been with us for more than five years. Eminent Domain is our newest practice area created in 2013, and already we are looking to expand the business once more. Many exciting things are on the horizon, and we hope you'll consider joining us. Providing excellent legal service to our clients is our calling. We handle claims across the entire state of North Carolina, and we believe we have the ability and responsibility to make a difference for regular people facing disruption from government construction. We're in the unique situation of having a firm that practices eminent domain exclusively, yet we are under the umbrella of the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, one of the largest firms in the Southeast. What The Day Looks Like:
Providing initial contact with the client and gathering pertinent documentation that will be required throughout the case. Communicating with right of way agents in acquiring documents, offers, appraisals, and project/filing timelines. Coordinating conferences between the client and attorneys to review cases and offers. Providing excellent service for our clients - this includes everything from being the first point of contact if they have any questions, helping them schedule inspections and other meetings, and providing updates on their case. Tracking cases and moving them forward in the process as they progress Admin tasks such as filing/scanning documents, tracking projects, and maintaining files Exceeding the expectations of clients and ourselves We're Looking for
Someone Who:
Ideally has real estate, legal, or related experience Is computer savvy and enjoys learning new software Is detail oriented and can find their way around Microsoft Excel efficiently Possesses the organizational skills required to maintain a high level of accuracy
