Senior Level Salary:
$55,000 - $75,000 per year Job Details - We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience to support a team of approximately 2-3 litigation attorneys. This is not simply an administrative support position. You'll be actively involved in investigating cases, gathering and analyzing evidence, reviewing medical and other records, coordinating experts and depositions, communicating with clients, and preparing matters for mediation and trial. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of multiple active litigation matters. Responsibilities Support attorneys throughout all phases of personal injury litigation Assist with case development, discovery, mediation, and trial preparation Gather, organize, and review medical records, evidence, and case documentation Investigate case facts and identify potential issues or missing information Communicate regularly with clients regarding case developments Coordinate with medical providers, experts, witnesses, and outside parties Schedule and coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and other litigation activities Assist attorneys with discovery requests and responses Organize exhibits, records, evidence, and trial materials Prepare cases for mediation and trial Attend trials and provide litigation support as needed Maintain accurate case files, deadlines, and documentation Work collaboratively with attorneys, legal assistants, and other members of the litigation team Qualifications 5+ years of Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal experience required Plaintiffs' personal injury experience preferred, but strong defense-side PI litigation experience will be considered Strong understanding of the litigation lifecycle Experience with discovery, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation Excellent organizational and case-management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines Strong attention to detail and investigative mindset Comfortable communicating directly with clients Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with attorneys Must live within reasonable driving distance of the Raleigh/Durham area Ability to attend trials, including occasional overnight travel Preferred Qualifications Plaintiffs' personal injury litigation experience Experience taking personal injury cases from litigation through trial Trial preparation and courtroom support experience Experience supporting multiple litigation attorneys simultaneously Strong medical-record review experience Experience working in a high-volume plaintiffs' law firm A bit about us: - We are a nationally recognized plaintiffs' law firm dedicated to representing injured individuals and helping clients navigate some of the most challenging moments of their lives.
