June 10, 2026 Full-Time On-site Locations Greensboro, NC 27401, USA Job Details Description Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP has an immediate opening for a full-time legal practice assistant working in the firm's Greensboro NC office. This position will support an active team of attorneys and paralegals practicing all facets of intellectual property (IP) law for regional and international clients.
Responsibilities:
Work on legal team on complex issues for local and global clients Administrative and secretarial duties Primary and secondary responsibility for quality checking documents Letter formatting and Formal client correspondence Billing Ethical conflicts checks management and file opening Conducting sales investigations and industry sector analysis Preparing marketing reports Scheduling meetings and managing calendars Maintaining firm databases Making travel arrangements and handling expense reimbursements for attorneys Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) with three years related experience and/or training is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience Highly motivated and self-starter Excellent oral and written communication Strong project management skills with attention to detail and management of multiple deadlines Work effectively in a team as well as independently Paralegal or equivalent IP experience a plus The candidate must have excellent knowledge of English grammar, proofreading and English composition skills as well as a disciplined eye for quality checking document accuracy The candidate must be able to demonstrate a history of initiative and task ownership, must have excellent computer skills, and a strong knowledge of MS Word, Windows, Outlook, Excel and Adobe.
