Job Description:
This is a dual receptionist and paralegal position. The primary responsibilities include answering phone calls, making outgoing calls, sending emails, assisting walk-in clients, and supporting real estate closings, including drafting documents and communicating with clients. This position is highly communication-focused and requires strong organization, professionalism, and the ability to work independently. You will be entrusted with assignments by one or more attorneys, and your work will help ensure that client needs are handled in a timely, accurate, and personal manner.
Requirements and Qualifications :
Paralegal experience and/or experience working in real estate is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, able to follow the direction and guidance of our attorneys, and comfortable working independently once trained. This position requires someone who enjoys communicating with clients and working directly with individuals. You will be expected to become familiar with the day-to-day processes of the office and assist with legal and administrative tasks related to real estate closings and other matters handled by the firm. In addition to legal and administrative capabilities, the candidate must demonstrate strong communication, customer service, writing, drafting, and document preparation skills. The candidate must also be willing and able to assist with short errands as needed, including dropping off or picking up documents from the courthouse, post office, or other nearby locations.
