Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Compliance & Regulatory Paralegal to join our corporate support team. Our team supports our ABA therapy Learning Centers and our sister company's hospice locations throughout the southeast. This position will focus on regulatory compliance across our ABA and hospice service lines, with an emphasis on Medicare and Medicaid requirements. Who is Highlights Healthcare? Coordinate and maintain state and local business licenses Monitor and support compliance related to waivers and regulatory programs Conduct legal and regulatory research related to healthcare compliance Identify and mitigate legal and financial risks Development and implementation of company policies and proceduresPOSITION OVERVIEW
Responsibilities /Essential Functions:
Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of files and records Comply with Highlights Healthcare's vision, mission, and valuesQUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of an accredited college or university, preferred Juris Doctor (JD), Paralegal Certificate, or LL.M. (Highly Recommended) 3-5 years of experience in paralegal support Adherence to laws and best practices with regard to customers and data Experience with Medicare and Medicaid regulations, preferred but not required. Experience with CAQH, provider enrollment systems, and licensing process, preferred but not required. Ability to perform in a fast-paced, team environment Excellent knowledge of MS Office Highly organized with attention to detail; results driven Excellent time management and high productivity Strong, polished communication and customer service skills - written and verbal The above tasks reflect the essential functions and other job functions considered necessary of the job identified and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all work requirements that may be inherent in the job or assigned by supervisory personnel.
