️ Complex Litigation Paralegal | High-Autonomy Role | Work-Life Flexibility Are you a litigation paralegal ready to take full ownership of your workload while working alongside a highly driven attorney in a collaborative, small-team environment? Robert Half is partnering on a unique opportunity for a Complex Litigation Paralegal supporting a dynamic civil practice with a diverse caseload. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, case-heavy environment and enjoys balancing independence with structure. What You'll Be Doing As A Paralegal Manage a high-volume caseload (90-110 matters) , including complex, multi-year litigation as well as shorter-cycle cases Support a broad mix of matters, including civil litigation, estate disputes, and family law Draft, format, and finalize pleadings, motions, discovery, and court filings for attorney review Maintain strict oversight of deadlines, calendars, and case progression across all matters Partner directly with the attorney to prepare for hearings, trials, and ongoing case strategy discussions Serve as a key liaison with clients, courts, and opposing counsel to keep matters moving efficiently Conduct legal research using tools like LexisNexis and analyze case materials to support strategy Utilize modern systems (cloud-based case management, MS Teams, Adobe) to manage workflow and documentation Assist with time tracking, billing coordination, and invoicing support ✅ What We're Looking For 2+ years of civil litigation experience , ideally handling more complex, multi-year cases Strong drafting experience across litigation documents (pleadings, discovery, etc.) Ability to manage competing priorities and stay ahead of deadlines in a structured workflow environment Comfortable working independently while maintaining accountability and communication cadence Tech-savvy with legal systems, e-filing, and document management tools Highly detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in managing caseloads
