Job Description
Actively interviewing - APPLY NOW!! Litigation Paralegal - Bankruptcy Experience Required 📍 Winston-Salem, NC or Raleigh, NC | On-Site | Full-Time A well-established legal team is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with 5+ years of experience and strong Bankruptcy background to support attorneys in complex commercial bankruptcy and litigation matters. This is a full-time, on-site position offering the opportunity to work closely with attorneys in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Job Duties:
Draft, format, proofread, and file legal documents in state, federal, and appellate courts (CM/ECF, eCourts) Support attorneys in commercial bankruptcy and litigation case management Maintain and organize case files (electronic and physical) Manage calendars, deadlines, and docketing systems Assist with discovery, subpoenas, and trial preparation (exhibits, notebooks, hearing binders) Communicate with attorneys, clients, courts, and outside counsel Conduct legal research as assigned Coordinate mailings, filings, court runs, and administrative support tasks Prepare and enter billing/time entries accurately and consistently (required)Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years of paralegal experience Bankruptcy and/or civil litigation experience required Strong knowledge of Bankruptcy Code and Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure Experience with CM/ECF and eCourts filing systems Must have prior experience with legal billing and time entry systems Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Associate degree required; Bachelor's preferred NC Notary (preferred or willing to obtain) Benefits of theRole:
