Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support a wide range of legal practices, including estate planning, litigation, family law, and more. The ideal candidate will be passionate about legal support, possess excellent organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will play a vital role in managing case files, , drafting documents, and providing administrative support to attorneys and clients alike. Duties Assist attorneys with case management across diverse practice areas such as estate planning, family law, trusts, municipal law, and civil litigation Draft and review legal documents including contracts, pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and clarity Manage document management systems to ensure accuracy and confidentiality Support client communication through phone calls, emails, and meetings while maintaining professional etiquette and confidentiality Organize and maintain case files through meticulous filing, data entry, and document management practices Assist with procedural law compliance and prepare materials for court filings or client meetings Perform proofreading and editing of legal documents to ensure high-quality submissions Coordinate with external parties on project timelines and manage multiple tasks efficiently using project management tools Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly and accurately Effective communication skills for client interaction and internal collaboration Experience in legal drafting, writing skills enhancement, proofreading, transcription and document review processes Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Strong clerical skills including filing, data entry, phone etiquette and administrative support functions Join us if you're eager to contribute your legal support expertise within a collaborative team that values professionalism and continuous learning. Pay:
$22.00 - $28.00 per hour
