Job Description
Summit Title's growing Commercial Division is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to join our team in Bedford, New Hampshire. This position is ideal for an experienced commercial real estate paralegal, legal assistant, or a highly motivated individual with strong organizational and problem-solving skills who is a quick learner, interested in developing expertise in a highly specialized field and building a long-term career in the commercial real estate transaction field. Success in this role requires someone who enjoys complex and fast-moving responsibilities, managing multiple moving parts, solving problems, communicating with the various parties involved in the transaction, and ensuring deadlines are met. Key Responsibilities Open and manage commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing Order and coordinate title examinations, municipal lien certificates, tax information, UCC searches, payoff statements, zoning information, GIS mapping, and other due diligence items Compile, organize, review, and track transaction due diligence materials Communicate with lenders, attorneys, borrowers, sellers, municipalities, and other parties throughout the transaction process Prepare settlement statements, agendas, closing documents, and other transaction-related documents Review title commitments, title abstracts, and supporting documentation Coordinate critical dates, deadlines, and closing requirements Assist with closing preparation, document review, recording, policy issuance, and Post-Closing matters Review loan packages and closing documents for completeness and accuracy Independently respond to routine transaction-related communications and inquiries Qualifications Commercial real estate, title, legal, or related experience preferred, but we are willing to train candidates who possess the other necessary qualifications Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage multiple transactions simultaneously Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is curious, organized, dependable, and eager to learn.
