JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position provides comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Legal Bureau, assisting with the preparation, organization, and management of legal case files for court proceedings. Job duties will include coordinating communications with attorneys, defendants, court personnel, and the public while maintaining court dockets, responding to discovery requests, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and departmental procedures, support daily legal operations through records management, report preparation, and interdepartmental coordination. Performs other related duties as assigned. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7 am to 3 pm, is part of the Teamsters Collective Bargaining Unit, and provides an excellent work life balance. The position is grade 6 with an hourly rate not to exceed $26.6567 SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or certified equivalent Minimum of 1-3 years relevant work experience; a combination of education and experience will be considered Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and software Ability to meet strict deadlines Transcription experience required
