Job Description

Experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal Overview Hankin Palladino Weintrob Bell & Labov, P.C. is seeking an experienced and highly organized Paralegal/Legal Assistant to support our legal practice involving commercial real estate transactions, land use and zoning matters, condominium and waterfront development, corporate and partnership disputes, environmental law, and complex litigation. Duties Assist with complex commercial real estate transactions and related documentation. Prepare, review, and organize legal correspondence, contracts, pleadings, motions, and discovery materials. Maintain and manage litigation and transactional files. Coordinate filings with state and federal courts and administrative agencies. Monitor deadlines, court appearances, and attorney calendars. Communicate professionally with clients, municipal officials, courts, opposing counsel, engineers, planners, and other professionals. Assist with land use, zoning, development, and environmental matters. Organize materials for hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and appeals. Conduct factual investigations and legal research as directed. Support all aspects of case management from inception through resolution. Requirements Prior experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant required. Experience in commercial real estate, litigation, land use, zoning, corporate law, or related practice areas strongly preferred. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software. Professional demeanor and commitment to client service. Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and maintaining confidentiality.
Pay:
$26.02 - $31.34 per hour
