Legal Assistant

Bhatt Law Group, a busy New Jersey personal injury firm, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented legal assitant to assist our attorney with New Jersey PIP Arbitrations. Prior PIP arbitration experience is not required. If you are enthusiastic, eager to learn, and ready to develop a specialized skill set in a growing area of personal injury practice, we will train you on the substantive work, including drafting Arbitration Statements and Pre-Hearing Submissions through the NJ No-Fault PIP Arbitration program administered by Forthright. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal assistant, recent paralegal certificate graduate, or someone with general legal office experience who wants to grow into a specialized role with long-term potential. What You'll Do Assist our attorney in preparing and managing New Jersey PIP arbitration cases from intake through award Draft Arbitration Statements, Pre-Hearing Submissions, and supporting documentation (training provided) Organize medical records, bills, denial letters, and other case materials Track deadlines and manage multiple cases simultaneously Communicate professionally with medical providers, adjusters, and opposing counsel Maintain accurate, well-organized case files What We're Looking For Motivated, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about learning Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple files Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment A proactive, problem-solving mindset Reliable, dependable, and professional Proficient with standard office software (Word, Outlook, PDF tools); familiarity with case management software is a plus Why Bhatt Law Group We are an established personal injury and litigation firm with offices in Jersey City. $50,000.00 per year
