Job Description

Prestigious national law firm is seeking a commercial real estate legal assistant to support the real estate group within a growing legal practice. This role will provide hands-on legal and administrative support across a variety of commercial real estate, within a fast-paced legal environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong legal assistant experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
Job Function:
Legal Administrative Support:
Provide day-to-day administrative and legal support including document preparation, scheduling, filing, correspondence, and matter organization.
Document Management:
Prepare, revise, proofread, and manage legal documents, agreements, applications, and filings related to real estate matters.
Calendar & Deadline Coordination:
Manage attorney calendars, track deadlines, coordinate meetings, and ensure timely completion of legal and administrative deliverables.
Client & Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as a point of contact for clients, municipalities, court personnel, and external stakeholders while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Matter Coordination:
Support a variety of commercial real estate,, and property-related legal matters within a fast-paced practice environment.
Office & Operational Support:
Maintain organized legal files, support billing and expense processes, and assist with general office and operational tasks as needed.
Job Requirements:
Associate's degree, or related legal education is required. 5+ years of legal assistant or legal administrative experience within a law firm or real estate legal environment is required. Exposure to real estate law is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, and Excel is required, while experience with legal document management systems is preferred. Strong organizational skills, professionalism, communication abilities, attention to detail, discretion, multitasking capabilities, and the ability to operate effectively within a high-volume legal practice are required.
